About Me

Hello, I’m Emma Betts, a Level 5 qualified reflexology practitioner and mental health nurse based in Tonbridge, Kent, where I live with my husband and two children. I moved from Ireland to the UK to train as a nurse, qualifying in 2002, and have since supported children, adults, and older adults across a wide range of mental health settings.

Throughout my nursing career, I often felt there was something more I could offer, something gentle, hands-on, and truly calming. When I discovered reflexology, it immediately resonated. It felt like the perfect way to support emotional wellbeing in a way that’s both nurturing and deeply effective.

I trained with David Wayte, Principal of Jubilee College and the first reflexologist to become a member of the Royal Society of Medicine. His evidence-based, compassionate approach shaped the way I now blend clinical understanding with holistic care in my own practice.

With my Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology, I offer bespoke treatments in reproductive health, pregnancy, menopause, cancer support, palliative care, and chronic illness. I’m currently training in Limbic Reflexology with Hamish Edgar, deepening my work with the nervous system and the emotional brain. This approach supports clients living with stress, trauma, and chronic conditions by working gently with the limbic pathways.

My background in mental health nursing fuels my passion for using reflexology to support emotional wellbeing. I take a holistic, compassionate approach, tailoring each session to promote balance, resilience, and an enhanced quality of life for every client.

Alongside my clinical practice, I volunteer with a local Cancer Support Charity, offering reflexology to people navigating cancer treatment and recovery. Giving back to my local community is an important part of my ethos, and I’m grateful to support people during challenging times.

I’d love to support your journey to balance and wellbeing, book your consultation today.
