Autumn 2026
Hello everyone,
As the days turn cooler and the light shifts, it feels like a lovely time to check in. Here’s what’s new, what’s ahead, and a few gentle ways to support your wellbeing this autumn.

Autumn at the Cabin
Autumn has arrived with its amber light and slower pace. The garden is softening, the air feels clearer, and inside the cabin there’s that familiar autumn hush. Warm, steady, and deeply grounding.
And yet… how quickly it’s all changed. Only last week I was camping with the family, waking up to birdsong, cooking outdoors, and feeling wonderfully close to nature. That spacious, easy, barefoot‑on‑the‑grass kind of calm.
This week? It’s back to the rat race. Kids in school, lunches packed, alarms set, routines snapping back into place before I’ve even found where I put the tent pegs.
If you’re feeling that same slightly disjointed shift, the “how is summer already over?” wobble, you’re not alone. This time of year has a way of speeding life up just as the world around us slows down.
Inside the cabin, though, the pace is different. It’s the season for gathering yourself, settling your nervous system, and finding a pocket of calm that lasts longer than a weekend away. People often come at this time of year to soothe tight shoulders, steady sleep, calm busy minds, or ease that out‑of‑sync feeling that arrives with new routines and shorter days.
Step inside, breathe, and let everything soften into the season. And honestly… I don’t know about you, but I’d quite like to keep that chilled‑out camping feeling going a little longer. Maybe I need some reflexology 😄

Back to School Balance
The school year starts, routines shift, and suddenly everything feels a bit full. If tight shoulders, restless sleep or low patience are creeping in, it may be stress talking. Reflexology offers a gentle way to steady your system and ease into autumn.

Reflexology points to try
While a full reflexology session provides the most benefits, you can work these key points at home:

Adrenal Reflex
Great for: steadying energy levels as the season gets busier
Where: Just below the ball of the foot, slightly towards the inner edge.
How: Press lightly in small circles for 5–10 seconds.

Diaphragm Reflex
Great for: deepening the breath, easing that “tight chest” feeling that comes with busy autumn schedules
Where: The line running under the ball of the foot, from one side to the other.
How: Sweep your thumb across slowly, like smoothing out creases.

Solar Plexus Reflex
Great for: settling the nervous system as routines shift and days shorten
Where: The centre of the foot, just below the ball.
How: Press gently with your thumb and hold for 5–10 seconds. Slow breaths. Repeat on both feet.
Try these points in the softer morning light or early evening. Autumn is a season of slowing down, and these little moments help your body settle into the new rhythm.

Autumn Hydration
Hydration isn’t just about water. It’s about temperature, ritual, and rhythm. Warm sips, cosy mugs, and seasonal flavours help your body stay balanced as the days shorten and routines shift.
Ginger Glow
A tiny slice of fresh ginger in warm water. Not a tea, just a gentle infusion. Lovely for cooler mornings, sluggish afternoons, and supporting that autumn sense of reset.
